Position Overview
The Marketing Analytics Manger is experienced in CPG Shopper Marketing and syndicated data. They have the ability to transform raw data into actionable insights, the ability to not only report on “what” happened, but “why” it happened. This position also has the ability to understand complex shopper marketing budgets across programs and the experience in providing updates and analyses to the clients.

Reports to: Sr. Dir, Analytics

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reporting program-specific performance across traditional shopper tactics (National, media, retailer media, trade offers, etc.) correlating performance to syndicated data lift and other KPIs.
  • Reporting across multiple programs, analyzing what is working and what needs to be optimized.
  • Managing complex client budgets in coordination with Account Services and Accounting teams.
  • Making program/tactic recommendations in conjunction with budget recommendations based on client strategy. Updating clients with cadenced deliverables.
  • Work in a collaborative environment, cross-functional setting and responsible for explaining complex concepts
  • Subject to change based on business requirements
Qualifications
Must have:
  • 5 years of experience in CPG data analytics, which could include Shopper Insights, Category Management, RGM, Trade, or Sales support roles.
  • Deep understanding of CPG industry and FDMC retailers.
  • Experience analyzing Retail Media.
  • Understanding of how to pull, extract, and analyze syndicated POS data
  • A passion for storytelling based on data.
  • Expert in Excel and PowerPoint, including regular use of pivot tables and formulas (vlookup, if/then, sumif, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to analyze and interpret large quantities of data from multiple sources and summarize into key insights /learnings.
Not required, but nice to have”
  • Traditional Strategic Planning experience.
  • Panel Data knowledge.
  • Excel tool building experience.
  • Experience with BI tools.
  • Previous worked in an agency setting.
Candidates who progress to the final interview phase will be asked to share samples of their work in addition to completing a brief analytics assessment.
